16-year-old Noam was just hanging out with friends from his youth group, until one of them suggested they play catch on the umbrella in the yard. After a few minutes, it tore when Noam was on it. Since then, he has been in rehabilitation at Alin for six months, and despite the difficulty, he is optimistic: “I discovered how strong I am. Every day I prove to myself that you can even learn from this.”
